When I was about six, I visited a library for
the first time in my life. I wondered whom the books in the library may belong
to. Then I thought that whoever it is, would be a lucky person. I have been a
great lover of books and my craze for books even increased when I came to know
that there were special places just for books. When I was back I asked my
granny, which was the most wonderful place, a place which is liked by everyone
and a place where all wish to go, where there is peace. After thinking for a
couple of minutes, she answered me just with a word- ‘Heaven’. Then I wondered
if the library can be called the ‘Heaven of Books’. My granny said that she
agreed with me.
A library is a place where everyone loves to
go and a place where we can find a lot of good books. Library can also be
called ‘The Home for Books’ because the book family is there accompanying their
frequent visitors. Library is a place where we have to keep complete silence.
We have to obey some rules in a library. One such rule is to be silent and not
to disturb other readers. ‘Silence Please' is a sign we often find in
libraries. The orderliness of books in a library is a fact that attracts
readers. The books kept in correct order in the shelves looks really awesome. I
often wish I had a library of my own with lots of wonderful books. I would
build a small library of my own at my home and name it ‘The Heaven of Books'.
